SIGNPOSTS MEMORY GAME

           This Game is composed of 72 cards that show common traffic signs seen every time a family gets in the car to go anywhere. The signs include: a STOP sign, a YIELD sign,  SPEED Signs, EXIT signs and more.

Along with the sign is a related Scripture that those playing the game will be memorizing in order to play the game well. Players are shown a road sign displayed on one side of the card. The Moderator of the game is looking at the sign and the Scripture on the reverse side of the card. A player earns one point for knowing the Scripture Reference and 5 points for knowing both the Scripture Reference and the entire verse. The player loses the point if they name the wrong reference or say the verse incorrectly. The moderator may be generous in determining if the verse was quoted correctly due to the wide variety of translations used today. The game proceeds around the room as each player takes a turn. The winner of the game is the first one to reach 100 points.

The game will help the players memorize Scripture, learn street signs to prepare them for the time they will begin driving, and give them a fun experience with family and friends. This game was devised by a pastor with 5 children who wanted to have interaction with his children as they traveled and help them memorize  Scripture.
